Who?

Hey! I’m Emme. I have lived in the Puget Sound region since I was 2, and every time I step away I am reminded how much the clouds and moss are core to my being. Like many of us in Cascadia, I grew up in the forests and mountains, and I have dedicated much of the last decade to “dirt work”.

PlotTwist Wildlife Gardens was founded as a project committed to improving the ecological well-being of the Seattle area one yard at a time through the blending of beauty, function, and wildness.

My philosophy is to work backwards from what is needed to create a largely self-sufficient living system and what is needed to ensure your continued joy in the yard to arrive at a custom design that is specifically a reflection of that piece of land — its unique topography, micro-climates, and history.

Key to the process are the ideas of relationship and stewardship. Whether its monthly gardening or a one-time project, my goal is to always move with care, compassion, long-term thinking, and diligence.

This is a very human-scale endeavor. I’m always open to flexible arrangements, and my highest priority is helping people feel in right-relationship with the land around them.

If this sounds cool, give me a holler! Let’s change the world, one yard at a time :)
